As Acting Team Leader, you will temporarily take the reins to:

  • Inspire and guide a dedicated team of support workers, fostering accountability and best practice.

  • Lead service delivery for CYP with complex needs, ensuring person-centred, high-quality care.

  • Resolve complex situations and apply effective de-escalation strategies with confidence.

  • Proven leadership qualities and advanced problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, supervise, and performance manage team members.

  • A deep commitment to a person-centred approach and working positively with diverse communities.

  • Understanding of complex needs, behaviours of concern, and mental health challenges.

  • Relevant qualification (Cert IV/Diploma in Disability, Community, Children’s Services or similar) or identifying as Aboriginal and willing to pursue one.

  • Must hold: Current NSW Driver’s Licence, NDISWC, Paid WWCC, and First Aid/CPR.
