Orange Support Worker

Become a night time superhero! Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding career? We are seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team.

Whats on offer:

  • Permanent Part Time opportunities – Contract hours from 24 to 50 hours per fortnight
  • Evening and Sleepover Shifts – Work from 2 PM to 10 PM, followed by a sleepover shift ending at 6 AM.
  • Competitive Compensation – Earn between $360 to $600 per night (SCHADS Level 2 award rates + penalties + sleepover allowance and superannuation (11.5%).
  • We encourage applications from dedicated individuals interested in evening and night shift work

An evening in the role of a Support Worker 

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in offering essential care and support to children, young people, and adults who may be facing various challenges. 

  • Start your work day in the afternoon, working with individuals across age groups, assisting with personal care and daily living skills
  • Create a safe and comforting environment for our participants
  • Complete daily case notes, admin tasks and incident reports

 

What’s on offer

  • Immediate start (pending licensing requirements)
  • One-week comprehensive induction program 
  • Base rate of $33.41 per hour + super + shift penalties 
  • Positive and supportive work environment
  • Opportunity for additional hours

 

Skills and requirements

  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate 
  • A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDSWC)
  • Willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR)
  • Qualifications in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support highly regarded but not essential
