Roster Team Leader

We are seeking a Permanent Full-Time Rosters Team Leader to join our team!

About You:

  • In-depth knowledge of rostering systems and practices.

  • Experience in staff coordination and roster management, with a demonstrated ability to meet time pressures and manage multiple tasks.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders and promoting a collaborative team environment.

  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.

 

You Will Have:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing the rostering function for a large team, ensuring compliance with the SCHADS Award and relevant legislation.

  • Ability to prepare, publish, and manage rosters within set timeframes, ensuring optimal use of staff based on client needs and staff availability.

  • Strong organisational skills for handling administrative tasks, including maintaining staff details, tracking attendance preferences, and ensuring timely and accurate timesheet submissions.

  • A proactive approach to monitoring roster variations, managing vacancies, and supporting payroll reconciliation when needed.

  • Proven leadership in guiding and supporting Roster Coordinators, promoting team cohesion and continuous improvement.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build positive internal and external relationships.

  • A focus on meeting commercial KPIs, including timely roster publication, high participant satisfaction, and minimising unfilled shifts.

  • Adaptability in handling challenges such as cost control, employee disruption, and ensuring data accuracy across the rostering process.

Compliance Requirements:

  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence.

  • Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC).

  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment police check 

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
