As Team Leader, Adult Services you will: 

  • Lead a team of Support Workers to provide high-quality, safe services to vulnerable people in the community

  • Coach and mentor, providing on-the-job training and guidance

  • Inspire a skilled and diverse team, using your expertise to manage performance and provide support

  • Ensure effective service delivery by managing administrative processes, including accurate and timely reporting and record-keeping

    You will have:

  • Proven advanced problem-solving, emotional intelligence and positive interaction skills across diverse communities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and performance manage teams in a fast-paced & dynamic environment

  • Effective conflict resolution, negotiation, mediation and decision-making skills

  • Track record of building teams with clear goals, fostering innovation and collaboration

  • Commitment to a person-centred approach for vulnerable individuals

  • Experience supporting complex needs, behaviours of concern and mental health is essential; working with people with a disability and/or children or youth in care experience is highly regarded

  • Qualifications in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support (highly regarded but not essential)

  • Availability to work between 6am-10pm for at least 3 days per week

Compliance requirements

  • Current NSW Driver’s licence

  • Obtain and maintain a current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • Obtain and maintain a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)

  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment police check

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
