Social, Recreation and Community Participation

Our Social and Recreation Supports empower individuals with disabilities to participate in meaningful activities.

At Westhaven, we believe that social, recreation, and community participation are essential for people with disabilities to achieve independence, social and economic participation. Our programs offer a range of meaningful, social, recreational, and leisure activities that cater to individual needs and goals.

What are Social and Recreation Supports?

Social and recreation activities are an integral part of everyday life, and we all engage in them for fun and to maintain our health and wellbeing. However, people with disabilities may require extra support to participate in these activities due to their disability. This is where we come in – we provide the necessary support to enable individuals to take part in social and recreation activities that bring them joy and fulfilment.
