What is NDIS Support Coordination?

NDIS Support Coordination is funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme and helps people with disabilities coordinate and access the services and support they need to achieve their goals and aspirations. 

Westhaven has professional support coordinators who work with the person with a disability and their family or carers to develop the best plan possible through gaining access to the services and support outlined in their plan. They also coordinate those services to ensure that they are delivered in a way that is the most effective and rewarding.

Support coordination is extremely flexible, allowing it to be tailored to the individual needs of each participant’s specific goals, aspirations and needs. This goes hand in hand with Westhaven’s belief that everyone should live how they choose!

Westhaven’s Support coordination services can be provided on a short-term or long-term basis. It can also be provided in a range of settings, including in a person’s own home, in the community, or in a shared living arrangement.

We’re also a not-for-profit – giving us the major advantage over for-profit providers in that we invest everything back into better services for our pariticpants.
